Working collaboratively with our partners, A&E Global (www.aeglobal.uk/) MEICA, Taylor & Boyd (www.taylor-boyd.co.uk) Civils Designer and under the management of Damien Doran, Nu Line Utilities are currently delivering the HV Ring Phase II Project for Seagate in Derry. The 38kV infrastructure works are located at the FAB 2 building within the Seagate (www.seagate.com) hard drive factory in Springtown.
Works are currently on programme, with scheduled completion at the end of June 2019. The scheme involves the installation of 6 no. 200mm HV ducts over a length of 225m, trenchless crossings, reinforced concrete base construction, cable ladder infrastructure and general surfacing works, delivered with the support of LCL Plant (www.lclplant.com) with noise and vibration monitoring by Datum (www.datumireland.com).
